Good value for New York

I was looking for a way to save on sightseeing in New York City. I bought the New York Pass for 3 days. I signed up for their newsletter and got 10% off which was a nice bonus. It felt worth it considering how many attractions I visited. Without the pass, it would have cost a lot more. The app was easy enough to use to get into places.

Consistent service, easy process

This was my third time using Go City, this time for the Amsterdam Pass. I've used them before for London and Chicago. The experience was pretty consistent each time. The app worked well for entry, just like my previous trips. No issues with booking or getting into attractions. They are reliable and that's why I keep coming back when I travel. Delivery of the pass was instant, which is always good.

Quick access, no fuss

I bought the San Diego Pass for a weekend trip. It gave me access to everything I wanted. No waiting in lines for tickets. The app was straightforward. It saved me time and hassle. Good purchase.

Anyone know if you can stack coupons on Go City? Got a student discount code but also saw a Black Friday deal mentioned.

D Danielle Moore 3 weeks ago
Nah, usually only one promo code works at checkout. You'll probably have to pick the better deal.

I tried combining a newsletter one with a seasonal sale last time, didn't work. They're pretty strict about one code per order, afaik.

Just curious, how long are these passes typically good for once you buy them? Don't want it to expire before my trip.

D Danielle Ramirez 2 weeks ago
I think you have a good amount of time to activate it. Like, my Barcelona pass was valid for a year from purchase, then it starts counting down from when you first use it.

Yeah, it's usually a year to activate, then depending on the pass type, it's valid for consecutive days or a certain number of attractions once you start using it.

Thinking of buying the Paris pass, but like, do you have to reserve everything way in advance? Or can I just show up with the pass?

J Jacob Parker 1 month ago
Some popular spots, especially during peak season, will definitely need a reservation. It's best to check the app for each attraction's rules. I learned that the hard way with a museum in Rome.

Most things you can just walk up to, but if it's something like a special tour or a super popular observation deck, you might need to book. They usually tell you in the pass details.

Is the Go City All-Inclusive pass actually worth it over just buying individual tickets? Trying to figure out if it's a real saving.

D Daniel Taylor 4 weeks ago
It depends on how much you plan to do. If you're hitting 3+ attractions a day, absolutely. If you're more chill, an Explorer Pass might be better. I saved a ton in London because we were constantly on the move.

For me, it was. We did like 4-5 things a day in New York and the savings were huge. Plus, not having to buy tickets all the time was nice.

Hey guys, thinking about getting the NYC pass for my trip next month. Is Go City legit? Like, do they actually work at the attractions?

I Ian Lee 1 month ago
Yeah, totally legit. Used them for London last year and had zero issues getting into places. Just make sure you check for any specific booking requirements for popular spots.

They're fine. It's a big company. I've used their passes for San Francisco and Chicago, always worked.
